May Crafting Night Out

Crafting Night Out: Saturday, May 31, 6:30-8:30 pm

Create a fused glass dish

.

Kiln forming is a glass working technique where pieces of glass are assembled and then fused and slumped together in a kiln. Class participants will learn how to manipulate thin rods of glass over a candle flame to create unique designs on their dish. Crushed and cut pieces of glass will be available for students to decorate their dish.

Complimentary wine or water, and chocolates will be provided. Come enjoy an evening of creativity in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and create a beautiful 8” glass dish. Dishes will require two separate firings before they are ready for student pick up. These firings should be complete within 2 to 3 weeks.
