Santa Face JugThis Santa face jug began as a jug thrown on the wheel, and then sculpted to form the face. Hair and beard were fashioned from individually applied extruded clay strands. The white ball at the top of Santa's cap is the stopper for the jug.
Crystalline VaseThis wheel-thrown porcelain vase was glazed with a macrocrytalline glaze. the colors arise from copper and cobalt oxides.
Dia de los muertos jugThis Day of the Dead face jug was crafted from stoneware clay on the wheel, then the face features were sculpted by hand.

Crystalline BowlThis 12" diameter porcelain bowl was thrown on the potter's wheel and then glazed with a macrcrystalline glaze. The glaze contains a very high concentration of zinc. At the maturing temperature of the glaze, zinc silicate grystals form in the liquid molten glaze and start to grow. By thermocycling the kiln temperature up and down the size of the crystals is modified,
Small casserole with lidThis smaller sized casserole is crafted from stoneware clay and glazed with a durable food-safe glaze. It can go in the oven or microwave and is dishwasher safe. Capacity one quart, a great size for when you're just cooking for one or two.
Apple BakerThe apple baker produces perfect baked apples in your oven or microwave. Core your apple all the way through and place on apple baker spike. A little butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon into the top of the apple and bake until the apple is soft. For a savory side dish, this doubles as an onion baker. Core your onion, place on spike, add olive oil or butter, salt, pepper, and any other herbs you desire. Bake until onion is soft.
Sunflower PlateThe sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine, and has become a symbol for the resistance to the Russian invasion. We have been making sunflower motif pottery for many years, and it has been one of our most popular patterns. Piedmont Pottery will donate 1/3 of all sales of sunflower motif pottery to the Save the Children Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund. This plate measures 7" square, and is microwave and dishwasher safe. As each is made individually and glazed by hand, some variation in colors between the image shown and each individual plate may occur.
Crystalline glazed bowlThis macrocrystalline glazed porcelain bowl is approximately 11 inches in diameter and 3 inches deep. Colors derived from a mixture of cobalt oxide and copper carbonate.
Alice in Wonderland Travel MugThis slip-cast travel mug features Alice in Wonderland. The image is fused into the glaze so that it will not wear off. Dishwasher-safe and Microwave-safe.
